The Tale of Two General Nathan Bedford Forrest (s)

Is the American flag flying over Nathan’s head by mistake or is it a diversion?  He would roll over in his grave if he knew that flag was anywhere near him. 

He fought tooth and nail to cease its existence and to raise the Confederacy instead.  The bottom line is; it’s not a mistake; but it shouldn’t be there.  On the other hand; Nathan Bedford Forrest lll is a hero; a man that gave his life to free millions from the grip of Adolf Hitler.  It’s really strange how someone did that; place two different monuments to celebrate two extremely different lives.  Maybe; there’s something about the third that’s not told.  One thing for sure; he was on the fast track to gain rank; from First Lieutenant to Captain in 4 years; from Captain to Major in 3 years; from Major to Lieutenant Colonel in 1 year; from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel in 2 months; from Colonel to Brigadier General in 8 months.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Bedford_Forrest_III
